Kleinskuur Aquaponics currently has a full range of speciality lettuce as well as a variety of herbs and spinach in the system. We are providing “living lettuce” to a number of outlets.
By leaving the roots on we offer you a living plant which will stay nutrient rich and fresh for longer than cut leaves. The lettuce is grown in a Deep Water Culture system, not in soil, which explains the lovely strong clean roots. The best way to keep it fresh is to leave it with a bit of moisture around the roots in a cool place – when it is hot, the fridge is the best place.

We also welcome any walk-in customers, during normal working hours and on Saturdays.
